I’m very happy to have started a new postdoctoral research fellowship funded through the British Academy Urban Infrastructures of Wellbeing programme. I’ve recently joined a great group of people at Aga Khan University in London looking at the urbanisation of community water management in Gilgit-Baltistan. Given my doctoral research focus, I was pleased to see the BA programme highlights “formal and informal infrastructures” in the call. I’m currently enjoying developing my research thinking and R skills, as well as continuing to work on alternative modes of water supply in South Asia. Despite the global situation, I’m sure the project will have outputs that tell their own story before too long.
